Immediately unpack the fresh truffle upon arrival.

Store the wrapped truffle in a glass container with a tightly sealed lid.

Keep the truffle in the refrigerator until you're prepared to use it.

FOR WHITE TRUFFLES

Remove the fresh truffle from its packaging upon arrival.

Prepare a glass container with a sealing-type lid and add a small amount of rice.

Gently wrap the white truffle in a fresh paper towel and place it on top of the rice in the container. Ensure that the truffle is not submerged in the rice; it should only rest on top.

If not using the truffle immediately, replace the paper towel daily, while keeping the rice unchanged until you're ready to use it.
